Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically control the number of revolution below a preset value by automatically changing the blade pitch to the direction of wind or increasing and decreasing the blade pitch by means of wind pressure as well as a centrifugal force and releasing wind force higher then required during strong wind.
CONSTITUTION: Any number of spokes 9 and 9' are projected from flanges 7 and 7' in a radiating and symmetrical arrangement and communicated to a circular- shaped limb 10. An elevated part 13 for a blade 12 is loosely fitted to the lower end of each pin 11 for the circular-shaped limb 10. A shaft piece 14 for the blade 12 is loosely fitted into a bore of the flabe 7'. A coil spring 15 is fitted to the upper end of each pin 11. The coil spring 15 is fastened to the blade 12 on one end while it is fastened to a stopper bolt 16. During no wind, the pitch angle is zero (90° to the direction of wind) by the action of elastic force of the coil spring 15. When the blade receives wind, it rotates windward by the action of a tail 17. Each blade 12 is opened leeward by wind pressure, resisting against the elastic force of the coil spring 15 and receives pitch angles in proportion to the wind force thereby rotating.
