Abstract
PURPOSE:To accomplish excellent reproduced sound quality, by coinciding the acoustic centers of each band speaker on the same plane, through the provision of a symmetrical lattice type of constant delay type full band passing circuit in the network of a multi-way speaker device as a delay circuit. CONSTITUTION:An acoustic signal 100 from an acoustic amplifier is divided into acoustic signals 102 and 104 for high and low tone speakers 12, 14 at a band split circuit 20 of a speaker network 18, and they are respectively inputted to symmetrical lattice type constant delay type full band passing circuits 24a, 24b consisting of reactive elements only for required position delay. Further, the respective output is fed to tweeter and woofer 12, 14 located on the same plane of a buffle 16 of a cabinet 28 via impedance correcting circuit 26a, 26b. Thus, while keeping each speaker on the same plane, an arbitrary delay is made to each unit speaker, allowing to correct the difference of the acoustic centers lt and lw easily.
