Abstract

PURPOSE: To elevate the heat transmission efficiency, by equipping a spiral band plate to a heat pipe in the cylindrical state and forming a liquid reservoir.

The band plate 3, made of metal material, is formed so that an external diameter of spiral is larger than an internal diameter of cylinder 1, or is consisted of the absorbent material which has capillary action. The liquid reservoir 6 can be formed by bending one side edge 3', at least, of band plate 3, as shown in a figure C.
