Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a heat-accumulating material which can conduct uniformly and rapidly accumulation and emission of heat, by filling the pores of a metallic porous material with inorg. salts which generate heat or absorb heat when contacted with water.
CONSTITUTION: The pores of a metallic porous material having a porosity of 80W90% and a pore diameter of 0.1W5mm, are filled with inorg. salts such as CaCl2 and NiSO4 which generate head or absorb heat when contacted with water.
EFFECT: Heat recovery efficiency and the quantity of heat accumulation per unit area large, since the thermal conductivity of this material becomes greater.
