Abstract

PURPOSE: To hold a flowing amount of air in each branch pipe to a constant value and perform stable operation with low power in a device for transporting a powdery granule in the method of flowing air in a plurality of pipes, by providing a constant air flow adjusting device in a prescribed place of each branch pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A miltipiped pneumatic transport device operates in such a manner that, for instance, air is sucked by a blower 1 provided in a main pipe L then a powdery granule with suitable ratio of mixture is sucked from each mixer M1WMn into each branch pipe L1WLn devided from the main pipe L and separated by each cyclone C1WCn, and then dust is removed by a filter 2. Here are provided constant air flow adjusting devices V1WVn in prescribed places of the branch pipes L1WLn capable of responding to a change of pressure arising from a change of mixture ratio in the powder granule. Said device is of such constitution that, for instance, a cone 4 is urged by a spring 5 and movably provided in a housing 3 of venturi type further a position of the cone 4 can be adjusted by an adjusting means 6 through a bar 7, then the device can respond to a change of pressure by shifting the position of the cone 4.
