Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the test every section from one location, with less number of people in a short time, by installing an intraoffice device a test section, control section and data transmission/reception section to two stations on a circuit to be tested to the both ends of which a circuit terminator is connected. CONSTITUTION:A test section 11 transmits a test signal is transmitted to a loop formed via communication lines 3, 8 through the instruction of a control section 12 of an intraoffice device 9 for the discrimination of propriety of the lines 3, 8 and a line terminator 1. The control section gives instruction for the performance of the similar test to an intraoffice device 10 of another station via data transmission/ reception section 13 and a data communication line 17, and the device 10 makes test of lines 5, 6 and a circuit terminator 2. The test sections 11, 14 transmits/receives signals via lines 4, 7 through the instruction of the control section 12, 15 to test the lines 4, 7. The result of the tests are collected to the control section 12 to show them to the operators.
