Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts for motor-case installation as well as to improve workability by holding a motor case containing a watertight motor by means of defusers inserted inside a pump case.
CONSTITUTION: A pump driving part containing a motor consists of a motor shaft 25 and a cord 11 independently sealed to watertight with a motor case 6, a cover 7, an oil seal 12, an "O"-ring 3, and a cap 9. The driving part is inserted into a case 1 from its one side and fixed by tightening with defusers 15. Next, the inlet port is covered with a strainer 20 screwed down to the case 1. Thus, the pump driving part is assembled with independent parts, which obtains easy separate watertightness confirmation as well as the debris removal around the runner without dismantling the main parts.
