Abstract

PURPOSE: To reliably a suspension tower from falling down even if large impact force is worked on the suspension tower by reinforcing a wheel apron strongly enough.
CONSTITUTION: A tyre housing vehicle body structure is assembled by a wheel apron 1 to form the engine room side walls, a wheel apron reinforcement 3 which is connected in forward and backward directions at the upper part of the wheel apron, and a suspension tower 5 which is formed expansively on the engine room side of the wheel apron 1. A reinforcement member 7 is provided over front to rear of the suspension tower 5 in the closed section of the upper end part of the wheel apron, the lateral side and the upper side of the reinforcing member 7 are respectively connected to the lateral wall side and the upper part horizontal side of the wheel apron 1. Besides, the rear end part of the reinforcement member 7 is connected to the connecting part between the wheel apron reinforcement 3 and a dash side panel 4.
