Abstract

PURPOSE: To generate an abnormal voltage signal at the time of disconnection in the output signal line of a car-speed response signal by connecting resistances in parallel with a switch to issue constant-voltage pulses as responding to car speed.
CONSTITUTION: A lead switch LSW in a lead-switch type car-speed sensor 31 is connected to the input terminal of an FV conversion circuit in the (+) side and earthed to a car in the (-) terminal. The lead switch LSW is switched on or off by the frequency responding to the car speed, and send out a constant-voltage pulse signal V'L1 to a terminal L by a circuit construction in which the lead switch is connected in parallel with resistances R2, R3, and R4 connected in series with a resistance R1. When a resistance RL is connected to both terminals of the lead switch in parallel, voltage is dropped in the terminal L to issue a low signal voltage VL1. When a wire breaking BR is given at this stage, the voltage at the terminal L is brought to VL2. Meanwhile, at the normal state of car stoppage ST, the voltage at the terminal L is brought to VL1(ST) or "0".
