Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit of a multitimer by processing input signals in plural systems in combination of a multiplexer with an updown counter and RAM on a time-sharing basis. CONSTITUTION:An updown counter 7 and an RAM6 are combined to count the input provided on a time-sharing basis from a multiplexer 5 separately system-wise. When the counter 7 counts up to a specified value, an output circuit 27 assigned to the input system involved starts to work. The RAM6 retains the counted value from this point until the signal of the input system is stopped. Then, the counter 7 count down the value of the RAM6 from the time when the signal is stopped and when the specified value is reached, the output of the output circuit 27 is stopped. This eliminates the need for providing a timer circuit for each input system thereby simplyfying the circuitry.
