Abstract

PURPOSE:To make constant a modulator pulse output voltage at all times, by providing a means which controls a charging start time of a pulse forming circuit. CONSTITUTION:A switching circuit 8 including a switching element such as thyristor is provided between a charging choke 2 and a pulse forming circuit 4, and a trigger generator 9 is connected to the switching circuit 8. The interval of an output trigger signal of a trigger circuit 7 connected to a switching element 6 is taken as T1, T2, T3-, and a trigger is given to the switching circuit 8 from the trigger generator 9 at each time as T1-(T0+T), T2-(T0+T), T3-(T0+T)-, so that the charging time T0 and holding time T of the pulse forming circuit 4 can be constant, to conduct the switching circuit 8. Since the holding time T is constant every period, a stable output pulse voltage is given.
