Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a reading buffer memory, by allotting the compressed audio signals to the horizontal synchronous section groups of the video signal and recording the adjacent horizontal synchronous section groups with a distance secured by a prescribed angle. CONSTITUTION:The time axis compressed digital audio signals equivanent to a frame are stored in a buffer memory 5. These audio signals are collected with every four horizontal synchronous section groups like 1-4 sections, 5-8 sections and so on and read via a memory control circuit 4 to be synthesized with various types of synchronous signals through a synthesizing circuit 6. The synthesized signals are recorded on a video disk 12 with every adjacent horizontal synchronous section group with a distance of angle such as 180 deg., etc. Accordingly, in the reproducing mode, the audio signals are read with every horizontal synchronous secton group to be stored in a buffer and expanded before the audio signals of the next horizontal synchronous section groups are read. As a result, the capacity of a reading buffer memory can be reduced down to a low level corresponding to the read signals of a pair of horizontal synchronous section groups.
