Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a toner well fixable by flash-heating and not causing blocking, etc. during storage by adding a specified amount of wax to a component consisting of a thermoplastic resin and a finely powdered magnetic body. CONSTITUTION:A toner is manufactured by adding 5-20wt% natural or synthetic wax to about 30wt% thermoplastic resin such as polystyrene, acrylic resin or epoxy resin and 50wt% magnetic fine powder. The toner does not cause blocking and caking during storage, softens with low power consumption, and adheres to the fibers of copying paper with high fluidity.
