Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily construct a simple revetment by a method in which a temporary revetment is set on a foundation, a flexible material, e.g. mat, etc., is laid on the back of the temporary revetment so as to cover it, and then the back side of the flexible material is reclaimed through an anchor.
CONSTITUTION: A mound 1, e.g., rubble-foundation, etc., is constructed on the existing ground of sea bed, and then a temporary structure 2, e.g., caisson, cubic lumps of earth, cell, etc., is set on the mound 1. Then, a water-impermeable or permeable flexible material 4, e.g., mat, sheet, etc., is laid from the upside of the temporaty wall 2 to the surface of the existing ground 3 so as to cover the back side of the temporary wall 2 by means of a working ship, and then the back side of the flexible material 4 is embedded 5, during which work ties 6 are attached to the desired positions of the flexible material 4 and anchors 7 buried and fixed in reclaimed soil 5 are bound with the ties 6. After the completion of embedment, the temporaty wall 2 is removed and then transferred to a place where the other revetment is to be constructed.
