On the other hand, if a character keyed in immediately before said character is other than a ''Kana'' character, a character indicated by a cursor on the picture of an indicator 3 is checked, and if its character is a ''Kana'' character whose conversion to a flat-sound mark or a semi-flat-sound mark is allowed, its ''Kana'' character is converted to the flat-sound mark or the semi- flat-sound mark.
