Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure the stable shift and halt of an optical system in the photographing mode when an optical driving motor is controlled by a control circuit after detecting whether the image-forming optical system is at the focal point or not, by applying a focusing signal to a motor control circuit in the photographinc mode. CONSTITUTION:The motor locking signal S given from a control circuit 10 is set at a low level with the gates TG2 and TG4 closed and the gates TG1 and TG3 opened respectively in a mode excepting the photographing mode. The output signal of a difference detecting circuit 7 is fed to a motor control circuit 11 and a display device 12, and a lens 9 is rolled in/out in accordance with the output signal. In the photographing mode, the signal S is set at a high level with each gate reversed. Then the distance measuring signal given from the circuit 7 is latched at a D-FF with the rise of the signal S. Accordingly the reference potential (focusing signal) is fed to the circuit 11, and a lens driving motor is stopped. At the same time, the lens position is displayed in the photographing mode when the process proceeds to the photographing sequence.
