Abstract
PURPOSE:To assemble various composite processors easily, by providing (a)-side and (b)-side connector terminals on each print board in accordance with signlas on a bus and providing corresponding connectors for the print board on a back panel. CONSTITUTION:A main card 9, an IO processor card 10, and IO channel cards 11-1 and 11-2 are provided with (a)-side and (b)-side connector terminals 14-a and 14-b respectively in accordance with respective channels on a bus. Connectors 12-1-12-4 for print board corrsponding to respective cards are provided on a back panel, and signal lines l1-ln constituting the bus are connected to these connectors. Between adjacent connectors for print board, the (a)-side connector terminal of one connector and the (b)-side connected terminal of the other are connected by signal lines. Cards 11-1, 9, 10, and 11-2 are inserted to connectors 12-1-12-4, respectively, and the main processor 1 the IO processor 2 communicate through a communication channel 8. When and the IO processor is unneccessary, the card 10 is removed, and the card 11-2 is inserted in the position of the card 10, and thus, the assembly is changed easily.
