Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure heat quantity rapidly and with high accuracy with a device of small size by installing a heater separately so that strong electric current is not applied to the sensor that is provided in a heat quantity measurement device and at the same time installing a heater separately for reference so that a basic temperature is maintained. CONSTITUTION:Sensors 30 and 40 have a function of temperature measurement that is represented basically by the temperature measurement resistors, and at the same time the sensor 30 on one side is constituted as one body with a catalysis substance. A specimen gas and enough air or oxygen in a certain mixing ratio are introduced through an inlet hole 15. This mixture gases are heated to a specified temperature by a heater 20 when they pass a spiral channel that is formed by a screw 14, and when they flow into a reaction room, their temperature is designed to have already reached the specified temperature. With this arrangement heat quantity can be measured rapidly and accurately by means of a device of relatively small size.
