Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide effective loading of a wheel onto a supporting means, in a device in which body frame and wheels for a motorcycle are hung and conveyed, by shifting No.3 supporting means to a position ahead No.2 supporting means. CONSTITUTION:When wheels 14, 22 are to be loaded on No.2 and No.3 supporting means 10, 11, this No.3 supporting means 11 is shifted to a position B ahead No.2 supporting means 10, i.e. toward the other end of the guide rail 20, against the elastic force in fitting a steel ball 29 in a detent hole 37 by the use of a handle 43 and, then, a roller 39 is put out of the guide rail 20 at the time a stopper 28 and a moving member 18 come in contact. This separation will let a supporting member 19 swing for an angle of 90 deg. to push back No.3 supporting means 11 under the condition that the detent hole 42 is mating with the head 41 of bolt, which is then fitted in this hole 42 to set the swing of supporting member 19 into a standstill and fix the moving member 18 in the position B, and then the front wheels 22 born by the support part 24 are fixed in deformation from the longitudinal regularly facing position to the sidewise facing position. Thus the front and rear wheels 14, 22 can be loaded from a side in transport line onto No.2 and No.3 supporting means 10, 11 with good effectiveness.
