Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten the selecting time of a display card required while enabling stoppage at an accurate position by enabling the control of the speed of revolution of a pulse motor as the rotary driving source of a rotary member. CONSTITUTION:In the cooker with a leaf type cooking menu display device 16, in which a large number of display cards 17 on which cooking menus are recorded are mounted around the rotary member 18 in oscillatory form, the cards 17 are successively turned over by rotating the member 18 and the contents of the cooking menus displayed at a displaying position are varied, the member 18 is turned and driven by means of the pulse motor 22 while the speed of revolution of the motor 22 is changed continuously by controlling pulse frequency transmitted to a pulse motor drive circuit 23. That is, the selecting time of the display card required is shortened while the card can be stopped at the accurate position by rotating the pulse motor at low speed at the start and at the stoppage, and at high speed during the intermediate state.
