CONSTITUTION:Journal roll paper 4 is fitted into a supporting pipe 14 from the direction of an arrow head D. In this way, a winding core 41 can be fitted against a slip stopper spring 15, provided to the supporting pipe 14, and integrally fixed to the supporting pipe 14. Under this condition, if the roll paper 4 is pulled, the supporting pipe 14 is turned and coil spring 13 is also rotated to the same direction, then its winding diameter is changed. Further the coil spring 13 winds to a stepped part 122 of a coupling 12, and back tension is applied to prevent a sag of the roll paper 4. When tension of the roll paper 4 increases to at least a certain value, the coil spring 13 is moved sliding on the stepped part 122, and the back tension can be held to a certain value. In this way, a feed shaft of the roll paper can be stably operated.
