Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a foamed interior material without using a releaser, by applying paper members rich in the absorbency and flexibility that have been wetted with water onto mold surfaces, and injecting a foamable resin liquid into the foaming molds followed by foamoing and hardening. CONSTITUTION:The sheet of paper members 5 rich in the absorbency and flexibility that have been wetted with water are applied and stuck fast to the cavities 3b, 4b of an upper mold 3 and a lower mold 4 that are hinged by a hinge 2. While the paper members 5 are still in the wet condition, a foamable resin liquid is injected into the mold cavity 4b, the upper mold 3 an the lower mold 4 are engaged and clamped, the resin liquid 5 is foamed and hardened, the molds are opened, and the foamed item 10 with the paper members 5 still stuck to the surfaces is taken out.
