Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent one-sided abrasion of a double-feed preventive roller, by interlocking the double-feed preventive roller provided in the proximity of an original feed inlet, with an original receiving table cover through a one-way clutch. CONSTITUTION:An original 2 is put into an original receiving table 1 provided on the upper part of a platen 9 of a copying machine, and the original 2 on the original receiving table 1 is carried one by one sheet from the lower one by an endlesslike feed belt 3. On the upper part of this belt 3 is provided a double feed preventive roller 4, and this roller 4 contacts with the upper surface of the carrying belt 3 so as to prevent double-feed of the original 2. The center part of the double-feed preventive roller 4 is supported by a shaft lever 6 for supporting an original receiving table cover 5 which is provided so as to open and close the upper opening of the original receiving table 1 and also it is interlocked with the original receiving table cover 5 through a one-way clutch 7, so that it is rotated by a constant distance in the direction as indicated with an arrow (a) at every time of opening the original receiving table cover 5.
