Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a wall surface finishing agent for troweling, which has excellent workability and gives an elegant appearance, by using a flat aggregate obtd. by rolling a spherical aggregate, in combination with an aggregate which is smaller than said flat aggregate and has a different color therefrom.
CONSTITUTION: A fibrous material such as pulp or glass wool is mixed with a powdered material such as calcium carbonate or talc. If necessary, a colorant is added thereto. The mixture is granulated to obtain a spherical aggregate. Pref. a glossy powder such as aluminum or copper powder is spread over the spherical aggregate. Then the spherical aggregate is rolled by using a roller to form a flat aggregate having a major axis of 0.5W9mm and a thickness of 0.1W3mm. An aggregate (such as colored sand) which is smaller than the flat aggregate and has a different color therefrom, is blended with the flat aggregate. Furhter, an acrylic emulsion resin, etc. is blended with the mixture to obtain the desired wall surface finishing agent for troweling.
