Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled receptor with high sensitivity to a semiconductor laser by forming a photosensitive layer consisting of a charge generating layer contg. a trisazo pigment and a charge transferring layer contg. a specified hydrazone compound on an electrically conductive support. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer 2 is formed on an electrically conductive support 1 by laminating a charge generating layer 21 having 0.01-5mum thickness and contg. 10-100wt% trisazo pigment represented by formulaI, and a charge transferring layer 22 having 2-100mum thickness and consisting of 10-80wt% hydrazone compound represented by formula II (where Ar is a naphthalene ring, an anthracene ring, styryl or a substitution product thereof, a pyridine ring, a furan ring or a thiophene ring; and R is alkyl or benzyl) and a binder resin such as polyester resin or contg. further additives such as halogenated paraffin. The resulting receptor with high sensitivity shows flat sensitivity over the whole visible range and the wavelength range of a semiconductor laser, has superior durability, and gives a clear image.
