Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture an electromagnetic steel plate having a film which is satisfactory in its insulation resistance, corrosion resistance and space factor, by executing a laser irradiation treatment onto the surface of said steel plate, and after that, removing a spatter before its insulation film threatment. CONSTITUTION:A directional electromagnetic band steel 1 wound lik a coil has a glass film on its surface. In order to remove surplus MgO, etc. adhering onto the surface of this steel tape 1, the band steel 1 is made to pass through each process of pickling 2, brushing 3, high pressure spraying 4 and drying 5. Subsequently, tensile force is provided to the band steel 1 by executing a tensile force film treatment 6. To this tensile force film, drying 7, baking 8 and cooling 9 are executed, and after that, a laser irradiation treatment 10 is executed. After the irradiation, it is made to pass through a spatter removing device 11, the spatter is removed by brushing and spraying, and subsequently it is dried 12. Subsequently, in order to repair laser marks of the tensile force film, an insulation film treatment 13 is executed, and the band steel is wound to a coil after baking 14 and cooling 15.
