Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure the application of a facsimile terminal device of general- purpose type, by setting an additional device containing a sending function of various service commands to a storing device between a telephone set and a facsimile terminal device. CONSTITUTION:An operator operates a changeover relay R0 of an additional device A to switch a circuit to the side of a service command sending circuit B from the side of a telephone SUB. Then a channel is set via an exchange device EX between a circuit B and a storing device MEM. Thus the communication is carried out between the circuit B and the device MEM in terms of a designated service command and its related data A. When this communication of data is over, the relay R0 is switched to the side of the telephone SUB. Then the control unit NCU of a facsimile device FAX is switched with a key operation of the device FAX. Thus the picture information which receives the transfer service is transferred between the devices FAX and MEM. In such a way, the device MEM performs a service operation when the picture information is stored in the device MEM.
