Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate removal of copying paper by using an endless beltlike photoreceptor, extending this to a triangular shape, transferring images with the part on the long side and stripping the copying paper from the photoreceptor in the curved part. CONSTITUTION:When an endless photoreceptor 4 is operated on starting of a copying machine, latent images are developed by a toner in a developing device 16, and one sheet of copying paper is fed from a paper feed part 20. The copying paper is attracted to the plane part 14 by the electric charge generated by the corona discharge from an electrostatic charger 22 for transfer, and the toner images are transferred to the copying paper. When the photoreceptor 4 arrives at the place of a roller 6, the copying paper is stripped from the photoreceptor 4 on account of the small curvature of the roller 6. The copying paper transferred with the toner images in this way is fed in an arrow B direction to a fixing device 33, where it is heated between a heat roller 34 and a belt 41 and is fixed with the toner images. This copying paper is discharged from the device 33.
