Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the preparation of a W/O/W type emulsion of high stability and emulsified state possible in preparing the W/O/W type emulsion by a two stages emulsification by compounding beeswax in oil phase and basic materials in aqueous outer side. CONSTITUTION:A compsn. contg. 3g beeswax, 5g solid paraffin, 10g vaseline, 30g liquid paraffin, 4g sorbitan monooleate and 2g sorbitan monostearate is dissolved at 70 deg.C, and 45g refined water heated to 70 deg.C is dispersed therein under agitation. This mixture is emulsified thoroughly uniformly with a homogenizing mixer, whereby a W/O type emulsion is prepd. 60g of this emulsion is dispersed in an aq. surfactant soln. prepd. by dissolving 2g fatty acid ester of cane sugar, 0.3g borax, and 5g propylene glycol in 32.7g refined water, whereby the W/O/W type emulsion of high stability is prepd. with high rates of formation.
