Abstract
PURPOSE:To compensate a temperature drift, by a method wherein an output of a high- frequency oscillating circuit, supplied to a circuit, which performs a moisture measurement of cereals to be measured, and a reference impedance circuit, is controlled so that the output of the reference impedance circuit is brought to a given level. CONSTITUTION:Cereals to be measured are placed between two electrodes 1, and a moisture circuit 3 generates a DC voltage VDC corresponding to a moisture content rate through application of a high-frequency signal to cereals. A reference impedance circuit 5 has an impedance corresponding to an impedance circuit 5 has a impedance corresponding to an impedance value obtained when the cereals to be measured is brought to a given temperature and moisture content rate, and detecting circuit 7 generates a DC voltage VD corresponding to the moisture content rate of the circuit 5. The voltage VD is compared (9) with a reference voltage Vref of a reference power source 13, and a detecting voltage Vc, bringing the voltage VD to a given value. A high- frequency circuit 15 is regulated by the voltage Vc, the temperature drift of the circuit 15 itself is compensated. Thus, a normally constant high-frequency voltage is applied to cereals placed between the electrodes 1, and this permits the reliable measurement of the moisture of the cereals.
