Abstract

PURPOSE:To smooth the handle operation of the title faucet and to prevent the generation of creaking by a method wherein synthetic resin slip members are interposed between a rotary member and a movable plate and the rotary member and the movable plate are brought into sliding contact with each other through the slip members. CONSTITUTION:The ring-shaped slip members 40 are interposed between a slider 29 located on the rear surface of the movable plate 26 and the rotary member 35 and between the rotary member 35 and the lower surface of a stepped section of a valve guide 9 so that the slider 29 slides with the rotary member 35 and the rotary member 35 slides with the valve guide 9, through the slip members 40. Each of the slip members 40 is made of a synthetic resin material, especially a fluoric resin material and accordingly, it slides well because the frictional force thereof is not affected by temperature variations.
