Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance heating, heat-insulating and sound-shielding effects, by a method wherein a plurality of blocks filled with a heat-treansmitting medium are piled up to constitute a wall in a condition wherein each block is higher on the interior side and is lower on the exterior side, in a wall heater using the solar heat. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of blocks 1 each of which is, for example, S-shaped in vertical cross section and filled with 1 the heat-treansmitting medium 3 such as water are piled up to constitute an outside wall 2 in which each block is higher on the interior A side and is lower on the exterior B side. In this case, a heat-insulting material 4 is provided between the blocks 1. The block 1 has a heat-radiating part on the interior A side and a heat-receiving part on the exterior B side, so that the former part is located to be higher than the latter. Accordingly, when the rays C of the sunlight are projected on the exterior B side of the blocks 1 through a transparent body 6 1 such as double-layer glass, the heat-transmitting medium 3 on the exterior B side of the blocks 1 is heated and moved upwards in the blocks 1 to the interior A side, while the medium on the interior A side flows downwards, resulting in that the interior A is heated by the medium 3 moved to the interior A side.
