Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide superior photosensitive characteristics by using a specified trisazo pigment as a charge generating agent and specified hydrazone as a charge transferring agent. CONSTITUTION:The charge generating layer is a layer contg. a trisazo pigment represented by formula I, and the charge transferring layer is a layer contg. a hydrazone compound represented by formula II (where each of R1, R2, R3 and R4 is H, 1-3C alkyl, 1-3C alkoxy, optionally substituted dialkylamino, dibenzylamino or halogen). The percentage of the trisazo pigment in the charge generating layer is 10-100wt%, and that of the hydrazone compound is 10- 80wt%.
