Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively start a motor even by a low voltage by extending auxiliary cores in a circular-arc shape in a reverse direction to the rotating direction of a rotor from the ends of main core of a stationary armature along the inside of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary core 52 forming a plate shape of L form in section is secured at the linear part of the section along a main core 50, and circular- arc-shaped portions are provided from the end of the core 50 in a reverse direction to the rotating direction of a rotor 10 along the inside of the rotor 10. When the motor is started, a rotary force is imparted in the rotating direction to the rotor 10 by the synthetic magnetic field of electromagnetic poles and shading coils 56 of the main and auxiliary cores 50 and 52.
