Abstract
PURPOSE: To make always correct distribution of wind quantity possible by operating the coeffts. of resistance of branch pipes including the valve opening states at the inlets of respective aeration tanks in accordance with the coefft. of resistance of a main pipe obtained beforehand and operating the valves in accordance with the deviations obtained in this way.
CONSTITUTION: The coeffts. of resistance of branch pipes including the valve opening states at the inlets of respective aeration tanks in a sewage treatment plant, etc. are operated by measuring total wind quantity, aeration tank wind quantity and the differences in the head pressures between the aeration tanks and from these measured data and the coefft. of resistance of a main pipe obtained beforehand. The resultant coeffts. of resistance of branch pipes are converted to valve opening commands, and the deviations thereof with the wind quantity of the above-mentioned aeration tank are taken. In accordance with the deviation signals obtained in this way, the valves are operated. As a result, the valve opening of each time meeting the momentary change in the total wind quantity is obtained, and the wind quantity is distributed always adequately.
