Abstract

PURPOSE:To stop whole of the system at the safe side when a micro-computer runs away or stops. CONSTITUTION:The micro-computer 7 is constituted with an oscillator 8, outputting a standard oscillating signal, the oscillator 9, controlled by a program, the oscillator 9', driving a fuel pump circuit 6, and a control unit 11, carrying out the program. When the micro-computer 7 is operating normally, the output frequency of the oscillator 9 is constant, the output voltage of a F/V converter 12 is higher than the set value of a voltge comparator 13 and a contact 4a is put ON by a relay 4. When the micro-computer is abnormal, the output frequency of the oscillator 9 is changed, and when the output thereof is stopped or the frequency thereof is reduced abnormally, the output voltage of the F/V converter 12 is also reduced and the contact 4a is put OFF through the relay 4.
