Abstract
PURPOSE: The title apparatus capable of effectively utilizing all of sensible heat and developed heat of a produced gas and making a liquid fuel using boiler, furnace, etc., convertible into a coal-using one, which comprises separately installing a fluidized-bed gasifying furnace and a char burning furnace.
CONSTITUTION: Coal is supplied to a gasifying furnace 10 by a conveyer 13, and steam S and air A to a gasifying agent-injecting chamber 12. A gasifying agent enters the gasifying furnace 10 via a neck portion 11. A coal particle in the furnace is decomposed with the gasifying agent and the obtd.fuel gas is discharged from the top of the furnace via dust collectors 28 and 29. A large particle not flown by an upward gas stream is supplied via char reservair 15 and chute 17 to a char burning furnace 18 and burned. The combustion gas reaches an air preheater 24, via the top preheats air A injected into the gasifying agent- injecting chamber 12 and is discharged after separated from dust by the dust collector 28. A large flying sinter collected by the dust collector 28 is supplied via a char reservair 30 and ash bin 23 to the char burning furnace 18 and burned. A fine particle is then collected by the dust collector 29 and discarded.
