Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable high-pressure fluid to be effectively reduced in energy and discharged, by a method wherein a jet direction of fluid at a plural number of discharge ports, formed in a high-pressure fluid outlet pipe used with outlet works of a dam, is fixed, and discharge fluid collide with each other. CONSTITUTION:An outlet pipe 3 is connected to a main outlet pipe 1, it is located in an energy-reducing work 6 connected to an irrigation channel 5, and a discharge device 7 is coupled to the outlet pipe 3. The discharge device 7 is constituted such that a short tube 8B is connected to a hollow toroidal body 8A, having a rectangular section, and a toroidal discharge means 8, formed in a manner to bore a large number of discharge pores (a) in an inner wall 8a of the toroidal body 8A, and the discharge device 7 is detachably joined to the outlet pipe 3. The pores (a) have a flow path in a direction pointing a center P of the toroidal body 8A, and are formed in a taper such that the diameter of the pore of a point on the pore (a) decreases the further downstream this point is situated. This causes high-pressure fluid to be disffused and discharged into the energy-reducing work 6 in a state to suppress the occurrence of caviation, and enables collision of fluid with each other at the center P of the toroidal body 8A to further reduce energy.
