Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the distortion of a large-sized feedforward type amplifier through a miniaturized differential amplifier by setting the intermediate electric potential of the differential amplifier which amplifies a differential component between input and output signals to the output signal level.
CONSTITUTION: An input signal of an amplifier 2 is applied to an inverting input terminal of a differential amplifier 4 and a signal obtained by attenuating an output signal of the amplifier 2 by 1/K through an attenuator 9 is applied to a noninverting input terminal. The attenuator 9 is adjusted so that the differential component of both signals to be applied to the differential amplifier 4 is limited only to distortion. Consequently, the signal level processed by the differential amplifier 4 is limited to a low level due to only to the distortion, miniaturizing the differential amplifier 4 with low distortion. In addition, the capacitance of floating electric power sources 7, 8 for the differential amplifier 4 can be reduced.
