Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a high S/N ratio, less erroneous detection, and high precision by using metal which decreases in Q value as amplitude increases for a metallic oscillation piece stuck to the piezoelectric magnetic plate of an oscillator. CONSTITUTION:On a metallic base 1, a metallic supporting base 2 is stuck and on the supporting base 2, one end of an oscillator 5 constituted by sticking a piezoelectric magnetic plate 4 on a metallic oscillating piece 3 made of oscillation damping metal which decreases in mechanical Q value as the amplitude of oscillation by external force increases is stuck. The surface electrode of the plate 4 is connected to a terminal 8 implanted in the metallic base 1 through an insulator 7 by a lead line 6, and the reverse surface electrode of the plate 4 is connected electrically to a terminal 9 implanted in the metallic base 1 through a metallic oscillating piece 3, the supporting base 2, and the metallic base 1. The length of the metallic oscillating piece 3 is so set that the resonance frequency of the oscillator 5 is equal to that of the oscillation to be detected.
