Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to accurately control a distribution flow rate by regulating the change of an opening area in the middle course of temperature variations, in a pressure-temperature compensated flow control valve.
CONSTITUTION: The fluid fed to an inflow port 2 flows into a hydraulic chamber 13 and a center hole 11 on a throttle member 10 from an inflow channel 6 via a pressure compensation valve 16 and finally goes out to an orifice 3 after being controlled by a throttle 12. The throttle member 10 expands or contracts by temperature variations of the fluid, changing the opening area and thus varying in the distribution flow rate of fluid. Since the throttle member 10 is provided with a regulating member 14 being less in the coefficient of thermal expansion, the gap H comes into zero whereby when a different diametrical step part and a stopper part of the center hole 11 arrive in contact each other, the amount of the axial part's expansion of the throttle member 10 is thus regulated. As a result, the distribution flow rate varies halfway in temperature variations of its opening area's contraction. Consequently the regulating member 14 is operated forward and backward, adjusting the gap H properly, by which the distribution flow rate is accurately controlled in a wide range of temperature variations.
