Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain said mold by which heat-forming can be done with good workability and economy, by holding the both side edge parts of a sheet at the edge parts of both side plates of one of the molds having a parting line displaced from the carrying level of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:When clamping with the mold 10 of which a parting line A coincides with the side face shape of a product, a preheated plastic sheet 20 is carried being held with clips 24a, 24b of chain conveyers 22a, 22b and the sheet 20 at the part along the parting line A displaced above from the carrying level of the sheet 20 is released from holding with clips 24a, 24b at its both side edge parts 20a, 20b. At the same time as releaing both side edge parts 20a, 20b of the sheet 20 are fixed with the sheet fixing device 30 provided at one of the molds 10 (a pneumatic box 14).
