Abstract
PURPOSE:To supply the primary current vector which is fundamentally required for a controlled induction machine by adding a suitable compensating means when other appratus is connected between an induction machine and a converter. CONSTITUTION:When the thirdapparatus, for example a transformer 11, is connected between a converter 2 and an induction machine 3, difference is caused between the primary current vector of the induction machine 3 and the output current of the converter 2 by the exciting current of the transformer 11 and the exciting current varies by the output frequency and output voltage of the converter 2. Therefore, a compensating circuit 12 performing the sompensation of transformer exciting current vector is added to a vector arithmetic circuit 9 to obtain the output current vector reference of the converter which has performed the compensation of the exciting current for the primary current vector reference and the converter 2 is controlled by this. Namely, the converter 2 supplies the exciting current and the resultant current of the induction machine and compensation is done so that the current of the induction machine may become a desired current.
