Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the weight of a load box, by shaping the front and rear end portions of a pair of longitudinal beams to provide strength corresponding to the bending moment which acts to the load box.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of longitudinal beams 11 are secured under transverse beams 8a, 8b secured on the bottom of the flat portion 2a of the bottom plate 2 of a load box 1. A front and a rear end members 11b, 11c are coupled to the front and rear ends of a central member 11a of uniform cross section and uniform strngth. The bottoms of the front and the rear end members 11b, 11c are made upwardly gradient toward the front and rear ends of the load box 1. The tips of the front and the rear end members 11b, 11c are secured on the foremost and the rearmost transverse beams 8b. As a result, the pair of longitudinal beams 11 are shaped to have strength corresponding to the bending moment which acts to the load box 1.
