Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the energy of a laser beam easy to be absorbed in the work and to improve the efficiency of working by coating a laser beam absorbing agent beforehand on the work through a spray nozzle mounted to a laser head. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam absorbing agent 12 in a spray nozzle 11 is supplied through a pipe 13 and is injected through the leading end of the nozzle 11 by the compressed air supplied through a pipe 14, by which it is stuck on the area 15 near the working position 5 of the work. Said nozzle is rotated together with a mounting bar 25 around a laser head 2 via gears 22, 23 by driving of a motor 21, by which the agent 12 is stuck around the area 5 from free directions. When the work moves and the area 15 stuck with the absorbing material comes to the working area 5, the energy of the laser beam 3 irradiated together with an assist gas through a focusing lens 4 is utilized efficiently for the working with the aid of the absorbing material.
