Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the air-fuel mixture of a fixed ratio constantly in a fuel feed device adapted for the alternate use between liquid and gas fuel by delaying the feed of gas fuel for a fixed time when the fuel is changed over from liquid into gas.
CONSTITUTION: When natural gas is used for fuel, the fuel evaporized and measured by an vaporizer is introduced from a pipe 2 into a suction passage 4 through a Venturi part 3. On the other hand, when gasoline is used, for example, in a small suction flow, the gasoline measured by a main jet 8 and a low-speed jet 9 is mixed with the air sucked from a low-speed air bleed 11 to be jetted out from a low-speed port 13. At this stage, the needle of a solenoid 15 is faced to the entrane of a low- speed air-fuel mixture passage 12, which is opened for feeding the gasoline. When the fuel feeding is changed over from gasoline into gas, a delay is given for a fixed time by a delay circuit, before the gas fuel is fed into the pipe 2.
