Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a conveying pipe from choking previously in a device to convey pulverized material from a pressure-transfer device at a high solid-air ratio via the conveying pipe by supplying pressurized gas into the conveying pipe intermittently for fluidifying the pulverized material. CONSTITUTION:Pressurized gas is supplied into a pressure tank 1 filled with pulverized material from a supply source 5 via a pressure valve 6. When the pressure inside the tank is risen to a fixed value, a discharge valve 4 is opened, and thereby, the pulverized material is conveyed to a receiving hopper 8 or the like via a conveying pipe 7. At this stage, a pressurized-air supply pipe 11 is provided in parallel with the conveying pipe 7, and connected with the above- said supply source 5 on its one end. A plurality of branch pipes 12a-12e are connected to the said pipe 11. They are also connected to the conveying pipe 7 in parallel respectively via flow control valves 13a-13e and pulverized-material-return-preventing sintered metal filers 24, and the flow control valves are opened and close by a control device 15 intermittently. In this construction, pressurized gas is injected into the conveying pipe 7 for attaining the expected purpose.
