Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of a control circuit, by lowering the response to a high band signal of a loop while the noise is produced into the tracking position detection signal. CONSTITUTION:Only the high frequency component excluding the rotary period component is extracted out of the signal of a track position detecting circuit 6 through an HPF9. Then the noises generated from the signal with the positive and minus properties and having the level higher than the prescribed value are detected by threshold circuits 10 and 11. The pulses corresponding to these noises are produced, and the output pulses are added 12 together to perform the ON/OFF control of a switch circuit 13. The circuit 13 varies the frequency characteristics of a phase compensating circuit 14. Accordingly no noise is detected in the track position detection signal, and the open loop frequency characteristics of a tracking loop works with the characteristics (a) while the circuit 13 is open. The response of a high band lowers like the characteristics (b) while the noise is produced with the closed circuit 13.
