Abstract
PURPOSE:To sharply reduce the amount of use of driving steam by cooling the cooling water introduced into a barometric condenser by means of a cold water producing apparatus, thus deleting the necessity of the booster ejector in the second stage. CONSTITUTION:The cooling medium such as water etc. which is cooled by a cold water producing apparatus 8 which is composed of a compressor, a cooler, and a condenser is allowed to circultate by a cooling medium circulation pump 9. In the heat exchanger 10 for exchanging heat between the cooling medium and the cooling water, the cooling water to be introduced into a barometic condenser 3 is cooled through contact with the water cooled by the cold water producing apparatus 8, and intrduced into the barometric condenser 3, thus the booster ejector in the second stage can be deleted and the amount of use of the driving steam can be reduced sharply.
