Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain demodulation by both a PAL signal processing part and an NTSOC signal processing part by using a common-use circuit integrated into one circuit, by using both the PAL signal processing part and NTSC signal processing part partially in common. CONSTITUTION:A composite color television signal supplied to a terminal 1 is passed through band-pass filters 2a (for NTSC) and 2b (for PAL) to separate a chrominance signal, which is supplied to a common-use ACC amplifier 51 through a switch 61. During PAL signal reception, the chrominance signal is applied to adding and subtracting circuits 55 and 54 through a one-line delay line 28 and a switch 64, and from a subcarrier oscillator 53, a reference subcarrier is applied to an R-Y demodulator 56 through a switch 62 for performing switching at a one-line period, thereby performing the synchronous detection of a PAL signal. During NTSC signal reception, the switch 62 is fixed one one side and the one-line delay line 28 is turned off by the switch 64, thus constituting a demodulating circuit for an NTSC signal. In addition, it is necessary to provide double-gain amplifiers 58 and 59 on an NTSC signal side.
